5 WAYS TO CREATE & STICK TO A MORNING ROUTINE THAT YOU LOVE..

So, a tonne of the time, I get hired to help people create a morning routine that WORKS, is SUSTAINABLE, and that FEELS GOOD.

Here's a breakdown of what I teach my private clients - so YOU can start creating a morning routine that helps YOU to have an EPIC day too!

First off - WHY do we have morning routines?
BRO - there are SO many reasons, but the TOP REASON is because it allows YOU to CREATE & decide on the energy of your day - NO LONGER living by DEFAULT, but by DESIGN. BOOM.

HIGH VIBE TIPS TO CREATE AN AM RITUAL THAT YOU LOVE:

1. DON'T STRETCH YOURSELF.
Giiiiiirl - if you KNOW that you've only got 15 mins before the kids are due to be woken up, DO NOT expect to fit journaling, reading, meditation, visualisation, gratitude, movement or whatever into your 15 mins. Instead, pick 1 - 3 things that you LOVE (info below..) and give THOSE your all. 
By putting pressure on yourself to do A LOT in a LITTLE, you're going to feel disappointed in yourself and your results. My morning rituals range from 5 mins - 90 mins, depending on how much time I've got that day.

So - Make those 15 mins the best damn 15 mins that you CAN, instead of trying to squeeze a tonne of development into a smaller time frame.

2. FILL IT WITH WHAT FEELS GOOD
Yeah, brother! Listen up - if you're NOT a writer and you're NOT into journaling, don't try to push and force yourself into writing about your feelings because you've read it is 'good to do'. If you're feeling any kind of UGH-ness (totally a word..), you're most likely not going to actually do it. So, find an alternitave that fires you up, and stick with that.
Don't dig meditating, but want to connect with the Spirit within? Try dancing to your favourite song, OR even try out a guided meditation to help you out.

3. LEAVE YOUR PHONE ALONE
I say this so much, I should get it printed on t-Shirts! But seriously. The moment you look at your phone (especially social media or messages), you're taking your focus away from YOU and YOUR energy, and straight into someone else's. This often leaves you feeling crappy, insecure, and 'WTF AM I DOING WITH MY LIFE' - not ideal energy to have first thing in the morning. So, challenge yourself - Can you leave your phone alone for the first 15 mins of your day? the first 30 mins? The first hour...? I don't touch my phone until my entire AM ritual is completed.

4. DECIDE WHAT YOU'D LIKE FROM YOUR DAY
Call in the experience of your day, by creating an intention and FEELING it.
'Today is a GREAT DAY to have a GREAT DAY!'
' I am SO EXCITED about all of the miracles coming my way today!'
'It feels SO GOOD to know that today will be WONDERFUL'...
And so on. 
By declaring it, you CLAIM it.

5. MOVE YO' BODY!
YEAHH baby! Get that booty outta bed, and moving! 
Whether you do jumping jacks for 30 seconds, do some gentle stretches, rock out some sun salutations, or go for a 5km run - it doesn't matter. Simply move your body in any way, for any amount of time that feels good, and the energy within you will SHIFT, and you'll create space + momentum for all the good to come your way! WOOO!
