Before Baseline, on a daily basis I felt a bit on edge and adjusting to being a mum of 3, three years old and under. Now, I am thinking more from my future self and consistently using the tools we learnt to regulate my nervous system such as telling myself “body, we are safe now, what do you need in this moment?” and proceed to sway, shake, breathe, hum or sigh depending on what my body answers. I have joined a gym class twice a week and doubled my prices, stretching my baseline as I go.
